The Perodua emo-II on display at the KL International Mobility Show this week is the second prototype version of the automaker’s future EV. It is said to be about 98% or 97% similar in size to what the production model will be, and the design is also indicative of what the EV will be like.
There will be an emo-III (’emo’ stands for Electric Motion Online) next year and that is likely to be as close to the production model as it will get before we see the final product which our friends at Funtastiko.net suggest could be called ‘Ace’.
Master fantasiser Theottle has come up with what he thinks the EV will look like in production form. He has incorporated more production-compatible elements like the door mirrors and also added some songket detail to the front end, following the idea in the concept car.
We look forward to seeing how Theottle’s fantasy compares with the production model when it is launched before the end of 2025. Who knows… Perodua might even like his ideas and use them.
