Leading up to the Formula Drift Long Beach in California this weekend, Toyota has teased a new GR Corolla which is in the final stages of development.
The prototype is with a camouflage wrap but new fender vents, bonnet vents, and the new rear spoiler are evident.
These are expected to improve aerodynamic performance, while torque will be boosted and there will be unique tuning which is track-focussed.

Toyota’s Master Driver Akio Toyoda will take it for a final test drive before sign-off for production. He is one of the very few company CEOs (now Chairman of the company) to be directly involved in product development, especially for the GR performance models.
