Tan Chong recognised as Nissan’s outstanding performer in the region

Tan Chong & Sons Motor Company Sdn Bhd, one of the oldest original Malaysian car companies, has been in business since 1957. And from its beginning in the auto business, it has represented Nissan and continues to be the Japanese carmaker’s business partner to this day.

Despite going through challenging periods over the past 20 years and especially during the pandemic, Tan Chong Motor has been determined to keep the brand strong in the market. Its efforts were recently recognised by Nissan Motor when it was a recipient of the Nissan Global Award for being the region’s top performer over the fiscal period of 2022.
