Following the earlier announcement of Stellantis starting its national sales company in Malaysia, the company has set up a call centre for the Peugeot, DS Automobile and Citroen brands to support customers and owners of the vehicles in the country. The French brands are part of the Groupe PSA which merged with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles to form the Stellantis Group in 2021.
The call centre, to start services from March 1, 2024, is one of the first initiatives by Stellantis Malaysia as it takes on the management of distribution and customer interaction, previously handled by Bermaz Auto Alliance (BAASB) which took on the Peugeot brand from NAZA in 2020.
BAASB ceases association with Peugeot
Effective February 29, 2024, BAASB ceases to be associated with the Peugeot as well as the DS Automobile and Citroen brands which it had earlier taken on the role of authorised repairer. BAASB has agreed to transfer the contractual Free Service Maintenance (FSM)
program to Stellantis in totality and as such, all future FSM will be carried out through Stellantis-appointed network.
The call centre – which has a toll-free number of 1800-18-STLA (7852) – will offer a centralised customer support service for both sales and aftersales, response to inquiries and provide assistance, as well as address any complaints.
It will be operational from Monday to Sunday between 8:45 am and 5:45 pm. Alternatively, customers can also communicate by sending e-mail to customersupport.my@stellantis.com.
To enhance the ownership experience and provide peace of mind, Stellantis Malaysia is providing 24-hour support for accident and breakdown cases to Peugeot, DS and Citroen owners in Malaysia.
