MINI Malaysia is introducing the new MINI Impact Program by URBAN-X in Malaysia, marking an expansion of the platform’s mission to support groundbreaking urban technology startups.
Following the success of pilot initiatives in several other countries, URBAN-X is now calling for submissions from Malaysian start-ups focused on creating innovative sustainable solutions that address the most pressing urban challenges (and there are certainly many in Malaysia).
An open call for urban changemakers.
The MINI Impact Program is a 4-week intensive program designed to empower start-ups working on climate technology and other transformative urban solutions. Each selected team will participate in the programme for 3 weeks remotely, with a culminating week at URBAN-X in New York City, USA.
This global initiative, first piloted in 2022, has already been successful in several markets in Europe, America, Africa and Asia. 2024 sees it expanding further to include teams from Malaysia, the Netherlands, Japan, the United Kingdom, India, Mexico and Italy.
Selected Malaysian start-ups will receive bespoke guidance from URBAN-X’s extensive resources, which include access to world-class engineering and design support, investment capital from venture partner JVP, and a global network of investors, policymakers, and industry leaders, helping them refine and scale their innovations to make a tangible impact on urban life.
Applications can be submitted from now until August 21, 2024 at urban-x.formstack.com/forms/mini_impact_program_2024 .
