SISMA Auto opens largest Volvo car outlet in Malaysia

SISMA Auto, an automotive retailer with 30 years of experience in the business, has opened the largest Volvo showroom in Malaysia. Located in Sg. Besi, Kuala Lumpur, the new facility was built with an investment of RM30 million and offers the complete range of sales and aftersales services, as well as Volvo SELEKT pre-owned vehicles.

Volvo Retail Sustainable Experience
The purpose-built 4-storey Wisma SISMA Auto covers 55,000 sq. ft. adopts the Volvo Retail Sustainable Experience in its design and operations. It incorporates various sustainable initiatives such as rainwater harvesting, solar energy, an energy-efficient insulated shell facade, energy-efficient lighting and ventilation, and maximisation of greenery on-site. There is also a 120 kW DC fast-charger for EVs in the compound.

It also uses Volvo’s latest sustainably sourced and produced furniture for the premium retail experience in the customer lounge. Needless to say, the design has a Scandinavian theme that features clean, simple lines which represent minimalism and functionality without sacrificing beauty.

The integrated service centre is equipped with all the latest Volvo computer diagnostic equipment, Volvo special tools, wheel alignment and balancing equipment. The facility and its Volvo-trained and accredited team are fully trained to maintain and repair all Volvo models, including the latest fully electric ones.

Belief in future of Volvo brand in Malaysia
SISMA Auto Group Managing Director, Syed Khalil Syed Ibrahim, said that the new facility represents a significant expansion of the company’s Volvo business and reaffirmed the company’s belief in the future of the Volvo brand in Malaysia.

“We started the Volvo business some 6 years ago and we had basically outgrown our original service centre in Glenmarie. This bigger and better facility is in response to the needs of our growing customer base. It also supplements our existing sales location in Bukit Bintang, the heart of Kuala Lumpur city centre.

“The adoption of electrified vehicles is taking off in Malaysia and we see tremendous growth opportunities as Volvo is already a pioneer among established automakers with an aggressive ambition towards a sustainable future. We are delighted to be part of this exciting journey,” he added.
