Having begun its relationship with BYD only at the end of 2022, Sime Motors has been busy building up the dealership network around the country. Peninsular Malaysia is now very well covered with outlets in strategic locations to ensure customers have easy access to support services.
East Malaysia has also not been forgotten and for customers there, a BYD 3S Centre offering sales, service and spare parts has now opened in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It is the brand’s first 3S centre in East Malaysia.
The 3S Centre, covered 1,288 sq. metres, is operated by Regas EV Sabah and offers a full spectrum of services from sales consultations and test drives to comprehensive aftersales support which includes painting and repair services. Being focussed on EVs, there are two 180 kW DC charging stations in the compound which can charge up to 4 EVs.

The new facility, located at the Sedco Industrial Estate, is one of three BYD showrooms in East Malaysia, with Regas EV Auto also having another one in Sibu, Sarawak. There are currently 29 BYD showrooms (with one more expected to open before the year ends) nationwide.
