As the vehicle population continues to grow, PUSPAKOM is taking pro-active steps to meet increasing demand for vehicle inspections. It is also preparing for an open market environment with regards to vehicle inspections in Malaysia.
One of the steps being taken is to extend operating hours at its inspection centres and a trial of this for 16 hours daily will start next month for a period of 4 months. The trial will be carried out only at the inspection centre in Glenmarie, Selangor.
During this trial period, customers may make an appointment later than the usual operating hours which are 8 am – 5:30 pm. Although the extended operating hours – FROM 7 am to 11 pm – start from September 2, 2024, appointments can be made from August 16 at www.mypuspakom.com.my.
“These extended operating hours are part of a pilot project by PUSPAKOM to assess the appropriateness of implementing longer operating hours at our inspection centres. We are doing this to reduce congestion at branches that have high traffic and for a start, we will try out the extended hours at PUSPAKOM Glenmarie,” said Mahmood Razak Bahman, CEO of PUSPAKOM.
