PUMA to hold first Southeast Asia Car Club event in Malaysia this month

PUMA, the well-known shoe and sportswear company, will soon have a Car Club event in Southeast Asia, and Malaysia will be the first stop in the region. The inaugural event is set to take place on August 25, 2023 at Sentul Depot in Kuala Lumpur.

PUMA’s first-ever Car Club event in the region will feature activations, games, and live performances that will immerse guests in the brand’s extreme world of motorsport.

Also present will be a community of changemakers and motorsport enthusiasts which will include PUMA’s Southeast Asia Motorsport Ambassador, Choo Sung-hoon (aka ‘Sexyama’).

12th Art of Speed [2023]

Representing Malaysia will be Asep Ahmad Iskandar, Festival Director of Art of Speed Malaysia (pictured above); Jeremy Lim, Managing Director of Blackbyrd & Dragonfly KL; Huang Ean Hwa, a 30-year advertising & marketing veteran and avid restorer of classic Porsche-branded cars; and Dato’ David Gurupatham, Barrister of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple with 3 decades worth of experience. From Motorsport Playground and 911 Rebels will be Remus Chang, its Founder & Creative Director.

Naturally, with the theme of cars, there will also be cars on display as well as activities in collaboration with The Driverz Club (Malaysia) and Horizon Drivers Club (Singapore).

AW 2023 Motorsport Collection
PUMA has also announced its new AW 2023 Motorsport collection of street lifestyle wear designed in collaboration with some of the world’s top motor brands. From August 15, the collection will be available in four markets – Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
