PUMA recently held its first-ever Car Club event in Southeast Asia in Kuala Lumpur. An extension of the brand’s involvement in motorsports, the event provided attendees with lots of entertainment and gastronomical activities in an automotive-themed environment.
‘Sexyama’ comes to Malaysia
The highlight of the event at Sentul Depot was the presence of Choo Sung-hoon, aka ‘Sexyama’. As PUMA’s Southeast Asian Ambassador, Choo shared his personal connection between the thrills of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) and the fast-paced world of racing.
His presence exemplified the fusion of athleticism, entertainment, and the essence of ‘Forever Faster’, PUMA’s tagline.
“When it comes to MMA and Motorsports, they both require a lot of focus to be able to excel and do well. I am now getting older, but I will continue to work hard. Working with PUMA, I feel like I can inspire them to be the same and continue to be an icon of hope for middle-aged men!” said Choo.
Car Club community leaders
The event also saw the attendance of the PUMA Car Club community’s leaders from Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, all of whom are pioneering figures in their respective domains. The community is made up of industry leaders, handpicked by PUMA to represent the brand’s approach to passion and speed.
PUMA also presented its latest collection of apparel in the form of the Autumn Winter 2023 Motorsport collection, The various items are now available at selected stores and the PUMA website, with prices ranging from RM159 – RM729.
