Proton R3 20th Anniversary Edition for X50 package priced at RM12,000

Following its unveiling at the MARii Autoshow 2023 in May this year, the price of the Proton R3 20th Anniversary Edition accessories package for the X50 has been announced as RM12,000. The special package, which celebrates two decades of Proton’s performance brand, is limited to 200 packages and available to buyers of the X50 1.5 TGDi in Jet Grey.

Orders can be placed at any authorised Proton outlet nationwide, with deliveries starting from mid-November 2023 onwards. The price is inclusive of installation by Proton’s personnel.

It consists of a satin black vinyl wrap, specially designed R3 aerokit (front, rear and side skirts), bonnet stripe, sporty rear roof spoiler, 18-inch lightweight alloy wheels, R3 front grille Logo, R3 limited edition rear tailgate nameplate and interior dash nameplate, R3 headrest embroidery for the driver and front passenger seats as well as R3 carpet mats and Proton window tint (JPJ-compliant).

R3 stands for ‘’Race. Rally. Research.’ and was established in 2003 as Proton’s motorsport and performance division. It was regarded as the successor to the successful PERT – the Petronas EON Racing Team – which was a collaboration between the national oil corporation, Ralliart and EON.
