Parts of the Kia EV3 revealed prior to May 23 debut

As a prelude to the global debut of the new Kia EV3 on May 23, the Korean carmaker has released three teaser images of the fully electric SUV. With this new model, Kia’s EV range extends further to encompass the compact SUV segment.

The teaser images show the exterior design to have geometric and robust elements, emphasised by the boxy rear fenders and tailgate. Also visible is the EV3’s signature Star Map lighting which gives the SUV a strong, futuristic identity.

The EV3’s design stems from the same principles used to sculpt flagship EV9, (launched in Malaysia recently). ‘Opposites United’, as the design philosophy is known, is the foundation for continuity throughout the brand’s model range and with it, designers can express the unique character of each model.

Aiming to broaden the accessibility of electric mobility following the introduction of the EV6 and EV9 models, the EV3 is also comprehensively equipped with innovative technologies and strong performance.
