Nissan Z NISMO…. gone in less than 60 minutes

The first allocation of the new Nissan Z NISMO for the Australian market was sold out right away, with online orders only being accepted for less than an hour as Z fans rushed to secure their vehicle. Reservations were limited to one per customer, and third-party resellers were not eligible.

Strictly limited to 100 vehicles in its first delivery run, the new flagship of the Z range was first offered to those already awaiting delivery of a Z or Z Proto, with those customers given the opportunity to change their order.

The 50 remaining vehicles were then able to be reserved at the Nissan Australia website from 11 am. By 11:11 am, the first 22 cars had been reserved; by 11.30 am, a total 40 Z NISMOs had been allocated. The remaining 10 cars were reserved by 11.53 am.

Each reservation required payment of a few of A$1,000 (RM2,982). However, Nissan Australia said that due to the strictly limited vehicle numbers, payment of the fee does not guarantee purchase of a Z NISMO and the fee is fully refundable prior to signing a contract of sale.
