Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn Bhd, which markets BHPetrol fuels and lubricants, recently announced Nichias FGS Sdn Bhd as its first customer for BHPetrol Liquified Natural Gas (LNG). It is the second oil company in Malaysia that supplies LNG, with the company having started the lucrative business in May 2023.
The Pilot Site Signing Ceremony was signed in Penang by the CEO of Boustead Petroleum Marketing, Ir. Azizul Azily, and Takuya Yoshimura, Managing Director of Nichias FGS.
NICHIAS Corporation, which has a history of almost 130 years, was a pioneer in manufacturing sealing and thermal insulation materials. NICHIAS FGS, its Malaysian subsidiary based in Kedah, supplies products to the automotive, industrial and building construction industries.
Besides LNG, Boustead Petroleum Marketing also offers Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) under the brand of BHPetrogas to the consumer and business sectors. It is available in 50 kg industrial cylinder and industrial bulk tanks (up to 21 kilolitres), as well as 12 kg and 14 kg composite domestic cylinders. Its LPG terminals are located in Pulau Indah, Selangor and Pasir Gudang, Johor.
