New Honda CR-V e:HEV RS price announced as RM195,900

Honda Malaysia has announced the price of the latest Honda CR-V e:HEV RS as RM195,900 (without insurance). The sixth generation of the flagship model was launched in Malaysia in December 2023  and includes three other versions priced from RM159,900 to RM181,900.

The CR-V e:HEV RS has a new generation 2-litre e:HEV hybrid electric powertrain with an output of 135 kW (184 ps)/335 Nm. The electrified powertrain is mated to an Electric Continuous Variable Transmission (e:CVT) with a new framework, said to be a first for Honda Malaysia. The RS version has only front-wheel drive.

For those who prefer not to have an electrified powertrain and save money, Honda Malaysia offers the second option of a 1.5-litre turbocharged VTEC engine. More powerful than a conventional 2.4-litre engine, this engine produces 193 ps/243 Nm, sent to the front wheels or all wheels (only 1.5V) via a CVT.

The CR-V e:HEV RS includes standard equipment such as Active Cornering Lights, roof rail, Active Shutter Grille, Bose Premium Sound System with 12 speakers and Active Sound Control, Head Up Display and a Key Card.
