GoCar Share for short-term car-sharing
It’s now common for families or a group of friends to hire a vehicle for a short period to make their balik kampung or holiday trips. Perhaps their daily car is not big enough or it may be a bit old so they are less confident taking it long distance.
GoCar Share is an ideal solution as it offers models like the Honda City, Nissan Serena, Perodua Axia and Bezza, Toyota Vios, and even electric vehicles. There is the assurance of the vehicles being in tip-top condition and fully insured.
GoCar Share is available 24/7 in the Klang Valley, Johor Bahru and Penang. Users only pay for the duration they need and with the GoCar mobile app, they can easily make bookings and lock/unlock the vehicle.

Not everyone needs to have full ownership of a car and for some, all that they need is something for their daily commuting needs. GoCar Subs offers a way to ‘own’ a car by subscribing. It is a bit like paying monthly instalments on a hire-purchase loan but you will not have to pay for roadtax, insurance or scheduled maintenance costs as the monthly rate covers all that. All you have to do is pay for the fuel, parking tickets – and fines for any traffic offences, of course.
With GoCar Subs, customers can benefit from a faster and more simple application process, without having to worry about being locked into traditional H-P loans for up to 9 years, making downpayments (though a minimal deposit is required), and depreciation. At the end of the agreed period, the vehicle can just be returned – no headache of trying to sell it off.
GoCar Subs has a streamlined pricing system based on categories. This also enables customers to easily swap to different models and still stay within their existing price bracket. There’s a very wide range of new and pre-owned vehicles – MPVs, hatchbacks, SUVs, sedans, pick-up trucks, luxury vehicles and even some sportscars.
During the campaign period, customers who sign up for 1-year (or longer) subscription will enjoy special discounts in the first 6 months of subscription. This offer applies to all categories and can range from RM288 to RM888 (see chart below). depending on the model and subscription term.
GoCar Garage for maintenance
GoCar Garage (and Garage partners) is a one-stop solution for regular maintenance of vehicles of any brand. Customers can schedule an appointment at the service centre (via the GoCar app or GoCar Garage website) and will be informed of the full cost of the work required. They can review the charges and only when they approve the quotation will work start. So there will be no surprises of ‘extra charges’ when they collect the vehicle.
During the campaign period, GoCar Garage is offering a 28% discount on selected TotalEnergies Quartz packages for oil changes. Each engine oil service package includes four litres of lubricant, an oil filter, a drain plug washer and labour charges. Bookings and servicing must be done during the campaign period by February 29, 2024 to be eligible for the ‘Double Fortune Lucky Draw Dip’ contest.
