The BYD ATTO 3 was one of the first EVs to be launched in Malaysia in December 2022. Since then, it has been the bestselling model of the brand in 2023 and 2024, helping make BYD the top-selling EV brand as well.

With the EV market gaining more choices (a new model every few months), 2025 will see competition becoming even greater. So it’s not surprising that BYD Sime Motors, the official distributor of BYD vehicles in Malaysia, is now offering the latest ATTO 3 ULTRA at RM124,500 (excluding insurance). When it was first launched, the price range was RM149,800 to RM167,800, depending on the variant.
Lower price for first 1,000 buyers
As with its launch of other models, BYD Sime Motors is also offering a special package for the first 1,000 customers who buy the ATTO 3 ULTRA. These ‘early birds’ will be rewarded with a rebate of RM5,000, an 8-year service package worth RM4,888, and unlimited internet data for the first 2 years of ownership.
There’s more in this ULTRA package: a 7 kW Wall Charger (worth RM3,699); V2L Adaptor for charging devices using the EV’s battery (worth RM988); and a Type 2 Cable (worth RM1,796).
What’s new in 2025 model
Enhancements for the 2025 model include a Digital Key using NFC (Near-Field Communication) which allows the owner to unlock and start the vehicle with a tap of their smartphone or compatible device on a specific area of the body.
Additionally, the Bluetooth Key function allows access through the BYD app without requiring internet connectivity, enhancing convenience.
The cabin has received a design update with a bold all-black interior and yellow contrast stitching instead of the previous red, adding a sportier touch. The front seats are now ventilated as well.
On the outside, the only visible change is at the 18-inch aluminium wheels which have a new design. These are fitted with 235/80 tyres with low rolling resistance to help extend range.
Confident of the quality and reliability of its EVs, BYD is providing a vehicle warranty of 6 years/150,000 kms, 8 year/160,000 kms for the EV battery, and 8 years/150,000 kms for the drive unit.
Save money with service packages
Every vehicle needs regular maintenance and owners can also save money over the long-term by purchasing the service packages in advance. BYD Sime Motors offer these packages with prices starting from RM1,688 and for periods of 3,6 or 8 years. The cost of the package can be included in the H-P loan.
