Lotus Cars announces Lotus Chapman Bespoke Service

“The story of Lotus is the story of a bespoke carmaker. The first cars were hand-drawn and hand-built at home by Colin Chapman, and that spirit lives on in us today,” said Qingfeng Feng, CEO, Lotus Group.

And bespoke now takes a more prominent role in the company with the availability of Lotus Chapman Bespoke, following popular demand around the world. It carries the name of the founder –  Colin and Hazel Chapman – the highest accolade for this most prestigious initiative.

The service will provide customers with the capability to customise their Lotus products, from custom badges and trims to complete personalisation of an entire vehicle that will make it unique and a one-off model.

Three main services
To simplify the process, there are 3 main services available: tailor-made, collection, and one-off. These will allow customers to finish and personalise their car in their own way, like how Chapman himself would have done.

One-off, as the name suggests, means the car can be built in a unique way to the customer’s preferences. With Tailor-made, the customer can choose a unique combination from within a broad palate of colours and designs, and finish with exclusive personal touches and details. Collection offers a selection of limited-edition designs, bought to life in collaboration with partners, artists and like-minded luxury brands.
