Limited edition version for farewell to MINI Countryman

After 13 years, the MINI Countryman has been discontinued worldwide. Distributors in various markets have had their own way of saying farewell to the model and MINI Malaysia is doing so with  a limited-edition in JCW (John Cooper Works) Trim.

Only 148 units will be available, each priced from RM253,833 (excluding insurance). For the extra RM3,445 more than a regular Countryman (which is still available), you get the JCW aerodynamic kit with sporty design elements such as integrated air ducts and a rear bumper with a diffuser.

The kit also offers enhances the car’s appearance with JCW door sill finishers, sporty rear spoiler and 19-inch JCW Circuit Spoke Wheels with run-flat tyres.

MINI TwinPower Turbo engine
The powertrain is the familiar 2-litre MINI TwinPower Turbo engine, a powerhouse producing 192 bhp/280 Nm which can send the Countryman from 0 to 100 km/h within a claim 7.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 225 km/h. The 7-speed Dual Clutch Sports Automatic Transmission enables quick shifts while a coasting function (in the GREEN driving mode) helps to economise on fuel consumption.

Inside, there are anthracite sunvisors, dome light housing, as well as anthracite pillars that span the front to the rear of the vehicle. The two handles on the ceiling in the rear and front also add to its sporty appeal.

The exclusive edition is available in 4 exterior colours – British Racing Green, Chilli Red, Nanuq White and Sage Green.
