JAECOO Malaysia starts J-Club for owners

Car companies today don’t just sell their products and then hope or wait till the owner is ready to change later on and will come back to them. With so many choices in the market, it is important that they form a connection with their customers which can at least help in retaining them over the longer term.

For this reason, various activities are organised for owners to have fun together and in the process, the company also gets to know them better. It costs money, of course, but that’s the cost of doing the car business nowadays in a competitive environment.

As more units are completed at its assembly plant in Selangor, JAECOO Malaysia is shipping the J7 to dealers around the country. Over 600 vehicles have been delivered to date.

JAECOO Malaysia, which entered the market the year, has begun such activities since delivering the first units of the J7 SUV. To date, it has delivered over 500 units and nationwide and as the vehicles roll out from the assembly plant in Selangor, they will go to new owners.

Part of premium ownership experience
Promising a premium experience for J7 owners, JAECOO Malaysia has plans that will engage its customers beyond the handover of the vehicle. For starters, every J7 owner will automatically become members of the elite J-Club.

“This community for owners provides benefits such as limited time offers for maintenance services and opportunities to participate in social activities such as J-Club events like car-care workshops,” said JAECOO Malaysia Vice-President, Emily Lek.

“Members will also receive exclusive invitations for events featuring artist collaborations, invitations to autoshows, and even a chance visit the brand’s plant in China,” she added, assuring owners of dedicated and highly trained JAECOO service personnel for complete peace of mind.

For owners to share interests
The creation of a community for owners also serves as an open forum for like-minded owners to connect over shared interests. This includes discussing useful applications of features in the J7 or their experiences driving it, especially in off-road conditions which it has the capability of doing.

First J-Club gathering
The J-Club will have its first gathering on September 7 at the Sentul Pavilion in Kuala Lumpur. In the meantime, members will be kept informed via e-mail and other message platforms as well as a J-Club Facebook page.
