Hot Wheels releases more products for F1 collection

Following the launch of the first limited edition Hot Wheels Formula 1 car in 2024 and the announcement of a multi-year licensing partnership with Formula 1, Mattel has revealed additional products from the Hot Wheels Formula 1 collection due to arrive in shops this year.

Unveiled ahead of the Nuremberg International Toy Fair in Germany next week, the range brings to life 8 Formula 1 team cars. Each is a 1:64 die-cast car is built to race on the Hot Wheels orange track, while the premium cars feature intricate details to replicate an actual F1 car, including a metal body and chassis, authentic team liveries and even Pirelli-branded tyres.

Fans will also feel the speed of Formula 1 at home when they race against their friends and family with the Hot Wheels Formula 1 Sprint & Grand Prix Race Circuit track sets. These racing sets are equipped with throttle pedal booster and a manual DRS diverter to give cars an extra edge.

The high-octane Formula 1 Grand Prix Circuit is the ultimate in die-cast racing with actual overtaking on the track. The cars speed around the track, thanks to a 2-speed 3-lane booster. Timing is everything when you hit one of the 2 manual DRS diverters and gain some extra speed blaze past the competition or simply retake first place in the 2-into-1 overtake 180 wall.

Prices in the UK start from £2.30 (about RM13) each for Hot Wheels Formula 1 Singles 1:64 Diecast cars and go up to £79.99 (about RM435) for the Formula 1 Grand Prix Circuit set.
