Your vehicle is required to have insurance coverage at all times if you use it on public roads. You are free to purchase the insurance from any insurance company and with deregulation, there may be small savings in premiums if you shop around.

Honda Malaysia has offered its Honda Insurance Plus (HiP) for many years and has now upgraded it to make it even better value for money. The improved HiP package focuses on three core pillars: Rescue, Protection, and Savings. This comes from a combination of 3 enhanced benefits: unlimited mileage towing, 100% pay-out up to 15 years, and 100% coverage on accidental repairs up to 13 years.
Customers are also entitled to Personal Accident Coverage of up to RM15,000 in the event of Accidental Death or Permanent Disability in the Named Vehicle Car accident.
Repairs can start faster
When repairs are carried out at a Honda Authorised Body & Paint Centre, processing of the claim can be faster as there is pre-approval for claims below RM30,000 (terms & conditions apply). This means repair work can begin faster without having to wait for an insurance adjuster to assess the damage and repair cost.
No betterment fee up to 13 years
HiP customers can save money on repairs as they do not have to pay a betterment fee for vehicles up to 13 years old (many other insurance plans set a 10-year limit). This is an additional charge when old parts are replaced with new/original parts during the repairs.
Honda owners who choose HiP are assured that all repairs are carried out using 100% genuine Honda parts with a warranty of 6 months/10,000 kms.
