Hilux Unleashed – The Ultimate Challenge, Melaka

Toyota Hilux owners in Malaysia have a chance to win prizes worth up to RM10,000 while having fun with their tough truck in the ‘Hilux Unleashed – The Ultimate Challenge, Melaka’ event next month.

The 1-day event is essentially a treasure hunt which would have a route that is challenging for normal vehicles but which would be easily traversed by the Hilux with its proven 4×4 capabilities.

The event will be held on May 24, 2025 and there will be two starting points – the Glenmarie Hotel & Golf Resort in Shah Alam, Selangor, and Pulai Springs Resort in Johor Bahru. Participants will have to follow a specified route to reach the finishing point by 4 pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton Melaka.

Each participating vehicle must have a minimum of 2 persons (one of which is the driver), with up to 4 persons allowed per vehicle. Along the way, each team will be required to refer to or find clues to obtain answers for the treasure hunt. These may be visible from the vehicle or may require walking around to search for the answers. There will also be some driving challenges where additional points can be scored.

All participants must be aged 18 and above and the driver must, of course, have a driving license valid for use in Malaysia. Advance registration is required with payment of RM200 per vehicle.
