Hello smart app introduced for future owners and non-owners

Ever since being appointed to represent smart in Malaysia and Thailand, PRO-NET (smart Malaysia) has progressively been introducing the brand and the products. The various stages have been well planned and will culminate with the official launch of the smart #1 EV before the end of this year.

Today, it officially introduces the Hello smart app which will provide a connection between the brand and customers and provide a premium customer experience.

Comprehensive, seamless digital journey
The Hello smart app has been designed with a user-friendly 4-tab layout to make it simple to use. Each tab allows access to numerous options such the latest news, events, and a community page, as well as digital product e-brochures and notifications (all related to the smart brand, of course).

For owners, the Vehicle tab allows personalization of their vehicles, book service appointments, and access real-time vehicle information. The information includes Battery Status, Charging Status, Driving Range, and Location.

Remotely control car functions
Additionally, owners can remotely control the air conditioner, door, windows, and schedule the charging time for the battery. The ability to access the air-conditioner from a distance is useful in our hot climate as it can be started before entering the car to cool the cabin down.

There’s also the e-Mall tab which connects to a virtual store where official merchandise and accessories can be purchased. With each purchase, loyalty points can be collected which can later be redeemed for rewards.

Also for non-owners
Even for those who are not owners, the app can also be useful as it can be used to estimate monthly payments and apply for loans to purchase smart vehicles.

“In our quest for a user-friendly digital journey, smart Malaysia is committed to boosting the connection between smart vehicle owners and their cars. We are thrilled to introduce the Hello smart App, which takes integration to the next level, keeping users in the loop and connected. We believe this app will deepen our owners’ affection for the brand, offering an innovative and all-encompassing experience,” said Zhang Qiang, CEO of smart Malaysia.

Locations of EV charging stations
The app was developed after extensive study of how users integrate vehicle usage with their digital lifestyle. An important feature is the Live Charging Map & Navigation System which provides the locations of almost all charging stations in Malaysia. Realising the importance of such information to EV owners, smart Malaysia has collaborated with EV charging ecosystem stakeholders to compile the data.

The app also eliminates the need for multiple apps and allows owners to locate available charging points, initiate the charging process, and make payments. smart is the first automotive brand in Malaysia to do this.

The current version available in the first one but already, improvements are being made and there will be more functions and features soon in the update to be released in the next quarter. It is available for free download from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei App Gallery.
