Go Car Malaysia now has Nissan KICKS e-POWER for car-sharing

GoCar Malaysia’s fleet now includes the new Nissan KICKS e-POWER, offering an electrified mobility solution to those who prefer car-sharing. Through GoCar Sharing, users can access vehicles by the hour or day, while GoCar Subs provides flexible, longer-term vehicle use with subscription packages ranging from monthly to yearly.

The inclusion of the Nissan SUV in the fleet, made possible in collaboration with Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn. Bhd, marks another milestone in GoCar’s commitment to making innovative, electrified driving experiences accessible to more users.

EV benefits, no recharging needed
The KICKS e-POWER, launched in Malaysia last year offers the benefits of a fully electric vehicle without the need to recharge. It is propelled entirely by an electric motor and has a small petrol engine to keep the battery pack charged to continue providing energy to run the motor.

This means that the driver does not need to worry about looking for a charging station or having to identify locations to go to on a long trip. With the KICKS e-POWER, motoring is just like a regular petrol-engined car except that it is much more fuel-efficient and the 41-litre fuel tank can provide a range of up to 900 kms.

The Nissan-developed electrification technology has been thoroughly proven, having been used for 8 years. Over 1.5 million vehicles in around 70 countries have e-POWER and it is now in the second generation with greater operating efficiency.

Book and win
To promote the new model’s availability through Go Car, Nissan Malaysia is having a campaign for custoemers who book a unit. If they share a review of their experience, they could win a portable vacuum cleaner.
