GAC Motor Malaysia holds first event for GS3 EMZOOM owners

Car companies today do not just sell a car to someone and then wait till the next time that customer wants to change to a new car. With the market so competitive, it is important to try to retain the customer and ensuring that the ownership experience is a good one is one of the ways to do so.

A good ownership experience is not only having a reliable car and good aftersales support but also enjoying using it. To enhance the ownership experience of the pioneer batch of customers who have bought a GAC GS3 EMZOOM SUV, WTC Automotif (M) Sdn. Bhd. (WTCA) and GAC Motor Malaysia recently organised a get-together event.

During the event, the owners drove to the scenic Tentent Cafe & BBQ at Genting Sempah on the Selangor-Pahang border where, besides meeting other EMZOOM owners, they interacted with key representatives from WTCA and also GAC Motor China.

At the feedback session, the owners spoke about their experiences with the SUV which was launched in April this year. The exchanges were two-way, allowing the representatives from WTCA as well as from the GAC factory to get insights into the vehicles in use, while the owners had many of their questions answered and also gained a better understanding of the vehicle.

Members of the technical team from GAC Motor who had come from China provided valuable information and explained various features of the EMZOOM such as the multimedia infotainment systems and software updates. At the same time, they also took note of concerns and suggestions from the owners.

Mr. Chin also gave assurance of full aftersales support. WTCA has a robust aftersales and inventory management, with strategic positioning of depots across Malaysia (including East Malaysia) to ensure efficient distribution of spare parts and accessories. GAC Motor Malaysia has also established a nationwide network of service centres so owners will have easy access to support services.
