The first shipment of EVs by Leapmotor International, a Stellantis-led company jointly shared by Stellantis and Leapmotor, are on their way to various markets in the Asia Pacific region. The EVs are the C10 SUV made at Leapmotor’s factory in the Zhejiang Province in eastern China.
One of the markets that the EVs will arrive in is Malaysia, where the model will be launched by Stellantis Malaysia on October 16 at The Exchange TRX in Kuala Lumpur. Thereafter, the model will be on display at the same location until October 20, 2024.
Stellantis Malaysia also has a special event planned on the night of October 18 at The Exchange TRX (Central Exchange, Ground Floor).
The event, called ‘Leap for the Stars’ Party Night is to celebrate Malaysia being the first country in ASEAN to launch the Leapmotor brand. The public is invited to attend and enjoy entertainment by DJ Belle Sisoski and DJ Nahsyk.
The C10, along with another EV known as the T03, are the first models for Leapmotor International’s global expansion in Europe, India, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and South America.
Another 3 new models will be launched in the coming years. These will cover a diverse range of segments from compact to full-size vehicles.
