EON Auto Mart Kuching relocated to new facility

The Kuching, Sarawak branch of EON Auto Mart, an authorized dealer of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, has relocated to a new facility following an expansion exercise. The 3S (sales, service and spare parts) outlet is now located at Section 64 of the Kuching Town Land District.

Incorporating the Mitsubishi Motors brand identity with the global brand message of ‘Drive Your Ambition’, it has a built-up area of 18,000 square feet. The integrated service centre has 9 service bays and customers can wait in a comfortable lounge with complimentary wifi. There is also a kids’ corner to keep the little ones happy while waiting.

“This strategic move is to serve our customers better as we see a huge potential for business growth here in Sarawak, especially for the Triton pick-up truck and XPANDER 7-seater crossover. In addition, MMM is continuing to advance our dealer’s network expansion as we progressively work towards introducing new Mitsubishi Motors’ models in Malaysia,” said Shinya Ikeda, Chief Executive Officer of MMM.

Joint venture partner since 2005
EON (Edaran Otomobil Nasional), a member of the DRB-HICOM Group, is the joint venture partner with Mitsubishi Corporation in MMM, which was established almost 20 years ago. The EON Auto Mart outlets, which number 8 Mitsubishi Motors showrooms nationwide, are part of MMM’s network which today has 59 and 59 service outlets throughout the country.  In East Malaysia, there are 15 showrooms (8 in Sarawak and 7 in Sabah) and 15 service outlets.
