After a lapse of 17 years, Cycle & Carriage is once again selling Peugeot vehicles. The company, better known for having brought Mercedes-Benz to Malaysia, had represented the French brand between 2002 and 2007 before it was taken over by Naza.
Following its announcement in August that it would also have Peugeot in its portfolio, Cycle & Carriage has been busy preparing its first outlet for the brand. Located in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, the new facility was officially opened recently and present at the ceremony was Linda Jackson, CEO of Peugeot.
The event was also attended by Thomas Tok, CEO of Cycle & Carriage, Daniel Gonzalez, COO of Stellantis ASEAN, and Jamie Morais, Managing Director of Stellantis Malaysia.
The outlet was revamped to incorporate the corporate identity of Peugeot as well as the brand values. It has a showroom on the upper floor which spans 4,655 sq. metres, providing plenty of space for displaying the latest Peugeot models.
“We are excited to welcome Peugeot to our Cheras branch, enhancing the diverse offerings we provide to our customers. We believe that existing and future customers will greatly benefit as well as enjoy easy access to a wider range of quality products and exceptional services. This new chapter represents our commitment to provide unparalleled customer experiences and build on our rich 125 years automotive heritage in Malaysia,” said Mr. Tok.
There will also be the upcoming introduction of Stellantis brands at Cycle & Carriage facilities in Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur and George Town, Penang. Peugeot owners will be able to obtain customised aftersales services while automotive selections across different price ranges will be available.
