There’s extra motivation for our athletes heading to the upcoming Olympic Games – Paris 2024 in France next month (July 2 – August 11) with a pledge from Chery Malaysia. The company, which manages the business operations of Chery Automobile in this country, will reward medal winners with its latest SUV models.
Gold Medal Winners will each receive a 7-seater TIGGO 8 Pro, while Silver Medal Winners will receive the fully electric OMODA E5. Bronze Medal Winners too will be rewarded with TIGGO 7 Pro each. The SUVs are priced between RM130,000 and RM159,800.

“We know they have put in the hard work and long hours of training for the games. We have high hopes that this year, Malaysia will achieve the coveted Gold Medal that the nation has been eyeing,” said Leo Chen, President of Chery Auto Malaysia. “To the Malaysian contingent, know that Chery Malaysia will be cheering you on every step of the way.” Malaysia will be sending over 20 athletes to the event.

The partnership collaboration was announced by Mr. Chen at an event attended by Datuk Stuart Ramalingam Chief Executive Officer Malaysian Football League and Coordinator of Road to Gold Programme; Yin Tongyue, Chairman of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd; and Zhang Guibing, President of Chery International.
Globally, the Chery Group is also supporting local athletes from various countries who will be competing in the upcoming Games. In Malaysia, various activities, including viewing parties, have been organised to cheer on our athletes.
