Bugatti Rimac collaborates in advanced rollercoaster at Europa-Park

Bugatti Rimac (Rimac gained majority share of Bugatti in 2021) will be partnering with Europa-Park, Germany’s largest theme, in an expansion project that will pay homage to the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Set to open in 2024, the park’s new area, dedicated to Croatia, will become Europa-Park’s largest single area, showcasing the theme of ‘energy’ in collaboration with Bugatti Rimac.

Homage to Nikola Tesla
The new Europa-Park area pays homage to Nikola Tesla, the Croatian-born inventor that has impacted the world in various ways. Mate Rimac cites his compatriot Nikola Tesla as one of his great inspirations for exploring the use of electric motors and batteries in performance cars.

High-performance electrification technologies
Today, the Rimac Group (which also has Porsche and Hyundai as shareholders) has a technology which supplies high-performance electrification technologies to the global car manufacturers. It also has its own all-electric hypercar, the Nevera.

The ‘Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac’. which is the park’s first new large rollercoaster in 12 years, will be one of the Europa-Park’s most advanced rollercoasters.
