BMW Malaysia has confirmed the price of the latest BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport as RM486,800, with BMW Service & Repair Inclusive (5-year extended warranty and service package) available at RM41,300.
The loxally-assembled SAV (Sport Activity Vehicle), nicknamed ‘The Boss’ when this current generation was launched in Malaysia in 2020, has an enhanced plug-in hybrid powertrain producing 489 bhp/700 Nm.
The petrol engine is an in-line six with a 3-litre displacement and, together with the motor, can send the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h in a claimed 4.8 seconds.
Additionally, the latest version of the X5 xDrive50e M Sport can run on just electricity for up to 100 kms and an improved 7.4 kW charging capacity, allowing it to reach a full charge from 0 – 100% in 4.5 hours.
