BMW Malaysia adds 520i M Sport to BMW 5-Series range

BMW Malaysia has added the new 520i M Sport to its BMW 5-Series range which is assembled at the Inokom plant in Kedah. The new addition is priced from RM349,800 (without insurance) and for another RM26,900, customers can add the optional BMW Service & Repair Inclusive package which is a 5-year Extended Warranty and Service Package.

The addition of the M Sport package adds a sporty image to the already dynamic appeal of the latest 5-Series. The models comes with adaptive LED headlights and the signature kidney grille with BMW Iconic Glow while 19-inch M light alloy wheels in Double-spoke style 935 M Bicolourare standard fitment.

The overall look of the exterior is accentuated with the addition of the M high gloss shadowline trim, with customers having a choice of Black Sapphire Metallic, Mineral White Metallic, Oxide Grey Metallic and Cape York Green Metallic as body colours.

Inside, the 520i M Sport’s cabin has been enhanced with an M anthracite headliner, M accents in dark chrome as well as aluminium rhombicle trim. The driver gets an M Sport design 3-spoke leather steering wheel and as with other 5-Series versions, there is the BMW Curved Display.

This expansive display is made up of a 12.3-inch instrument display and a 14.9-inch touchscreen Control Display, providing the driver with all the information necessary for safe motoring as well as various connectivity services.

The connectivity services available, via the BMW Live Cockpit Professional, are the Connected Drive Services, Teleservices, Intelligent emergency call, Connected Package Professional, as well as the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A charging tray is also available for smartphones that have the wireless charging capability.

Additionally, the BMW Interaction Bar, together with the ambient lighting, can be personalised to suit individual preferences, while the standard Harman Kardon audio system provides high-quality music for entertainment.

The 520i M Sport is powered by the well-proven BMW B48 4-cylinder engine with an integrated 48V mild hybrid system. The total output of the powertrain is 208 bhp/330 Nm which can take the car from standstill to 100 km/h in a claimed 7.5 seconds and the top speed is limited to 230 km/h.
