BMW Malaysia was among the earliest companies in Malaysia to promote electrification over 12 years ago with the BMW Active Hybrid. Today, it offers a range of hybrid and fully electric models, with the new i4 eDrive35 M Sport launched this week.
Priced at RM294,800, the 4-door coupe comes with an M Sport Package for a sportier look.
Inside, Aluminium Rhombicle Anthracite M trim is standard, along with M Performtex velour upholstery in a Black with M piping that pays tribute to BMW M’s motorsport heritage. This innovative lightweight upholstery not only offers a premium look and feel but is also designed with sustainability in mind as also significantly reduces CO₂ emissions.
Powered by 5th-generation BMW eDrive technology, the i4 eDrive35 M Sport’s motors generate 210 kW (286 ps)/400 Nm. The range is claimed to be up to 500 kms and with DC fast-charging (at 180 kW), recharging time is said to be 32 minutes for an 80% charge. A range of 144 – 182 kms can be obtained within 10 minutes. AC charging at up to 11 kW will take up to 7 hours for a 100% recharge.
Customers can choose Alpine White, Mineral White, Black Sapphire, M Portimao Blue and M Brooklyn Grey, Cape York Green and Fire Red, and can further personalise their car with the extensive range of optional M Performance Parts.
Customers can finance their purchase of the i4 eDrive35 M Sport with BMW Straight Line financing from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia.
