Chery Corporate Malaysia’s assembly plant is one of the youngest in Malaysia, having started operations in 2024. It currently assembles the JAECOO J7 and OMODA C9.
Sime Motors-owned Inokom Corporation plant in Kedah assembles for brands from Japan, Korea, Germany and China. It is also the only plant outside Germany to assemble Porsche models.
