Angka-Tan Motor Sdn Bhd (ATM) has added the JMC Vigus Pro White Series as another option for customers. Priced from RM99,888, the Vigus Pro White Series is said to be the most affordable 4×4 pick-up truck with an automatic transmission in the local market.
More for workhorse role
While the Vigus Pro Premium Series launched earlier is aimed at private owners, the new White Series caters more for business and trade customers. The new version offers similar performance levels but without features that are not really necessary in a workhorse role.

ZF transmission, BorgWarner 4×4 system
Powering the Vigus Pro White Series is the same PUMA 2-litre TDI diesel engine mated to a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission with manual mode. BorgWarner, a well known manufacturer of drivetrains, provides the robust 4×4 system with dual-range transfer box.
The seats in the cabin are upholstered with air-breathing leatherette for better comfort in our humid conditions. ATM now offers additional optional accessories to meet various needs. These include roller shutters to provide better security to cargo at the back, and also a canopy for sheltering the cargo bed from rain.
The Pro White Series is, as the name says, available only in Arctic White colour which will be more suitable for businesses that want to add their own logo.
For the first 3 years or 100,000 kms, the White Series is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. Like the Premium Series, it is also assembled in Malaysia at the Tan Chong Motor plant in Serendah, Selangor.
Aftersales support is provided by a network of 20 Tan Chong Ekspres Auto Servis (TCEAS) service centres nationwide.
Launch promotion
In conjunction with the launch of this new version, ATM is having a ‘Test Drive and Win’ contest. Additionally, every purchase of a Vigus Pro will grant customers 10 entries into the contest.
