Sabah gets its first Lexus Centre

Lexus has officially entered the Sabah market with the opening of a showroom in the state capital of Kota Kinabalu. Operated by Borneo Mobility Sabah Sdn Bhd, it is the second outlet of Toyota’s luxury brand opened in East Malaysia by Lexus Malaysia.

Easier and faster to get Lexus vehicles
With this new sales and aftersales facility, customers in Sabah can now obtain their new Lexus models faster and more easily. Until now, they have had to order their vehicles from the outlet in Sarawak or from Peninsular Malaysia.

As with all other outlets in Lexus Malaysia’s network, the new one in Kota Kinabalu offers the same high standards of personalised customer services and hospitality which the Japanese call ‘omotenashi’ that influences every aspect of the products as well.

From batik-inspired flooring to meticulously carved wooden fittings, the showroom harmoniously incorporates elements of traditional design to pay homage to Malaysia’s artistic heritage.

Lexus Kota Kinabalu is a 3S centre which offers the full range of services to meet every need of customers. Vehicles sold through authorised dealerships such as Lexus Kota Kinabalu have a 5-year/unlimited mileage factory warranty. There is also the assurance of professional and qualified aftersales service from technicians trained by Lexus, as well as availability of replacement parts when needed.

Together with the opening of Lexus Kota Kinabalu, the new RX F SPORT Hybrid (shown above) also made its debut in the state. The SUV is the first hybrid model to embody the Lexus Global Electrification Vision. This vision prioritises performance through electrification technologies and a range of electrified vehicle solutions to achieve Lexus’ aim of becoming a fully electric brand by 2035.
