Asbenz, an authorised Mercedes-Benz car dealership on the island of Langkawi, has upgraded its Autohaus to the German brand’s latest retail standards.
With 15,696 sq ft of showroom and amenity spaces, the Autohaus is a comprehensive one-stop auto centre situated on a vast 38,323 sq ft plot of land.
The Autohaus offers vehicles from the Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-EQ, Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Maybach at duty-free prices with the assurance of full aftersales support.
Charging stations for EV owners
As with other similar Mercedes-Benz facilities, it has amenities such as the Star Lounge and with growing use of electric vehicles, Asbenz has set up charging stations for owners of Mercedes-EQ models which are fully electric.
The upgrade to the Autohaus includes a fully equipped service centre with 10 workbays which can handle up to 70 vehicles a month. Scheduled maintenance and major repair services are available and carried out by Mercedes-Benz certified technicians, ensuring quality of service.
Other services
Other services available include Express Service 2.0, door-to-door service, Drop & Go, online booking, 24-hour roadside/emergency assistance, assistance in insurance claim processes, and insurance and roadtax renewals.
Asbenz also supports DSDPay, the brand’s in-house digital ePayment platform. This platform enables payments for Mercedes-Benz e-commerce products and services in the Mercedes me store, in the Mercedes me app, and via the MBUX multimedia system – also directly from the car.
“The new Autohaus in Langkawi stands as a testament in our collective unwavering dedication with our partner, Asbenz, to provide an extraordinary customer experience. The meticulous attention to detail in the design and functionality of the Autohaus mirrors Mercedes-Benz’s own commitment to luxury and innovation. Asbenz has consistently demonstrated the ability to create spaces offering not just vehicles but a lifestyle. With this latest addition, customers in Langkawi will be immersed in the world of Mercedes-Benz, where sophistication, technology, and top-notch service converge to elevate their journey on every level,” said Amanda Zhang, the new President & CEO of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia.
To date, Asbenz has invested a total of RM15 million, of which RM2 million was spent on the Autohaus in Langkawi. It currently operates four Autohaus located in Kedah, Pahang, and Terengganu.
