New Stellantis Regional Parts Hub in Malaysia getting stocks

Following its announcement last year that it would set up a Regional Parts Hub in Malaysia for the India & Asia Pacific regions, Stellantis has begun stocking the new facility which is located in a Free Trade Zone. The total shipment of parts is valued at €10 million (RM46.43 million), with €8 million (RM37.15 million) worth of stock currently in transit from North America, France, Italy, and China.

The shipment comprises 35,000 SKUs which contain parts for all Stellantis brands. In Malaysia, the brands currently active are Peugeot and Leapmotor while other markets also have brands such as Citroen, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, and RAM. With the regional hub, distributors in some 20 markets will be able to get parts faster.

Owners of Leapmotor EVs will be assured of ready and quick supply of replacement parts from the new Regional Parts Hub.
Set to be operational during the first quarter of 2025, the hub is a key part of Stellantis’ strategy to enhance aftersales service by reducing downtime and ensuring efficient access and availability of automotive parts and components to dealers and customers.
