Proton X50 Sport Edition – 1,000 units available

Following a preview at the KL International Mobility Show in December 2024, the special edition of the best-selling B-segment SUV – the X50 – is now on sale. Referred to as the X50 Sport Edition (SE), only 1,000 units will be offered, each priced at RM105,300.

Buy the special edition this month and you can also enjoy a savings of up to RM13,500 (cash rebate of RM7,000 + an angpao).

13 enhancements to make it special
Besides having all the upgrades made in the model last year, the X50 SE also has 13 enhancements. These start with a sporty 4-part Aerokit and Quartz Black body colour is accentuated by sleek glossy black garnishes at the front and rear. There are also 18-inch alloy wheels finished in black  and distinctive body decals.

Inside, sophistication and practicality are evident with key additions such as a wireless charging pad for compatible smartphones, sport edition carpet mats, scuff-plates on the door sills and boot tray.

Proven 1.5-litre turbocharged engine
As with other X50s, the Special Edition is powered by the proven 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with Multi-Point Fuel Injection. A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission delivers 1050 ps/226 Nm to the front wheels.

The X50 has received the highest ASEAN NCAP ratings so superior occupant protection is fully assured. Also standard is security tinting film which gives add privacy and protection against UV rays, keeping the cabin cool and comfortable.
