Mercedes-Benz Malaysia today presented 6 of its top-end models for a showcase with the theme of ‘Luxury Like No Other‘ from November 5 – 10 at the Cycle & Carriage Bintang Mercedes-Benz Autohaus in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Mercedes-AMG G 63: This automotive icon is powered by an AMG 4-litre V8 biturbo petrol engine with maximum of 585 ps/850 Nm. It has 48V technology with an integrated starter-generator which allows short bursts with an additional 20 ps/200 Nm. In this mode with the AMG Performance Package, the SUV can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, with a top speed of 240 km/h, it is claimed. Highlights of the iconic design include an AMG-specific radiator shell, large air inlet grilles, and a luxurious SUPERIOR Line Interior.Mercedes-AMG SL 63 4MATIC+: Priced from around RM1.9 million, this roadster comes with an AMG 4-litre V8 biturbo engine with 585 ps/800 Nm, giving a top speed capability of 315 km/h and claimed 0 to 100 km/h time in 3.6 seconds. It features AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL, AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission, and rear-axle steering. Also standard are 21-inch AMG 10-twin-spoke forged wheels and luxurious interior touches like nappa leather and carbonfibre trim.
Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC+ Coupe and GLE 63 S 4MATIC+: Both these cars have an AMG 4-litre V8 biturbo engine tuned to produce 612 ps/850 Nm. With the AMG Driver’s Package which adds Race and Drift modes, red brake calipers, and dynamic engine mounts, both cars are said to be able to do the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 3.9 seconds, and reach a top speed of 280 km/h. The latest AMG GLE has a fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and the AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension with adaptive adjustable damping. Customers also get the AMG Night Package, a panoramic sliding sunroof, and AMG Exclusive Nappa leather and AMG carbonfibre trim around the cabin.Mercedes-Benz GLC 350 e 4MATIC Coupe: This is one of the locally assembled electrified models in the Mercedes range. Its plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) powertrain with a 2-litre turbocharged engine and e-motor produces a total of 313 ps/550 Nm. With the 31.2 kWh battery pack, the electric-only range is claimed to be over 100 kms while top speed is up to 218 km/h. Beside the sporty AMG Line features adding sportiness, the GLC 350 e comes with DIGITAL LIGHT and Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus. Inside, the luxurious interior uses ARTICO man-made leather upholstery and there’s a Burmester 3D surround sound system.Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe: The heart of the AMG GLC 4MATIC Coupe is the signature engine built to the ‘One Man, One Engine’ principle. This is the AMG 2-litre 4-cylinder engine which produces 421 ps/500 Nm, with an additional 14 ps boost from the belt-driven starter-generator. It gets to 100 km/h from standstill in a claimed 4.8 seconds and can continue on up to 250 km/h. Besides the AMG Night Package, there are AMG sport seats in ARTICO man-made leather/MICROCUT AMG microfibre for upholstery with unique graphics and covers to provide a sporty touch to the interior.
