Locally-assembled range of GAC GS3 EMZOOM now complete

The locally-assembled range of the GAC GS3 EMZOOM is now complete with the launch of Standard and Exclusive variants of the SUV today. They join the GS3 EMZOOM Premium R which was launched earlier, with prices ranging from RM103,800 to RM126,800 for the 3 models.

All three variants are powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 177 ps/270 Nm. This output goes through a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission to the front wheels. Average fuel consumption is said to be 17 kms/litre.

While the three variants have the same distinctive Mecha Wing grille and Laser Eye Split LED headlights, the top-of-the-range Premium R’s looks are further enhanced by the R-Style Sport Package and R-Style Exhaust.

Also exclusive to the top variant are automatic headlights, High Beam Assist, Fusion Automatic Parking Assist, 6-way power adjustment for the driver’s seat, multi-colour ambient lighting, wireless smartphone charger, handsfree powered tailgate and a panoramic sunroof.

ASEAN NCAP 5 stars
The GS3 EMZOOM was assessed by ASEAN NCAP (the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries) in June 2024 and awarded the maximum rating of 5 stars. Although not the first Chinese brand assessed by ASEAN NCAP since it began such activity 12 years ago, it is the first model from GAC Motor tested by the organisation.

Extra warranty for first 2,000 owners
The GS3 EMZOOM comes with a with a 5-year/150,000-km warranty. Additionally, the first 2,000 customers can enjoy the extra protection of a 7-year/180,000-km engine and transmission warranty (terms & conditions apply).
