Now that the locally-assembled JAECOO J7 is being delivered to customers throughout the country, JAECOO Malaysia is making sure that when the new owners of the premium SUV need aftersales services, it will be available.
In fact, even before the first units reached customers, the dealer network was already established with 35 business partners signed up. Among them was one in East Malaysia where the brand will also have a presence.
“East Malaysia is an important market to us. Fans can expect to be immersed in a premium ownership experience that embodies the JAECOO ‘From Classic, Beyond Classic’ brand essence. We believe the J7 fits right in with the appetite of SUV fans in Sabah and JAECOO is ready to fulfil this demand,” said Chery Corporate Malaysia Executive Vice President, Leo Chen (JAECOO is a brand in the Chery portfolio).
The first dealership in East Malaysia is in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and operated by Universal JAECOO Sdn Bhd. Strategically located along one of the main roads into the state capital, the dealership has a distinctive appearance with its geometric frontage.
The dealership expects to welcome up to 200 visitors a month and when they visit the showroom, they will have a premium experience with amenities such as a customer lounge, coffee bar and of course a display of new models.
Full aftersales support is also available at the adjacent service centre where the personnel have been trained to look after the J7 and future JAECOO models.
“Patrons of the dealership will have the opportunity to view the JAECOO J7 in a conducive and relaxed environment. Our professionally trained sales advisors are also ready to attend to product enquiries and to arrange test drives upon request. With the future in mind, we believe we are well positioned in the market and have the capabilities to expand in tandem with our customer base in Sabah,” said JAECOO Malaysia Vice-President, Emily Lek.
