Proton owners and those who wish to buy a Proton vehicle in Banting, Selangor, now have a one-stop outlet for all their requirements with the opening of the revamped Proton EON 3S Centre along Jalan Suasa. The new centre, previously only operating as a showroom, has been upgraded to offer 3S services – sales, service and spare parts.
EON (a subsidiary of the DRB-HICOM Group), spent a total of RM6 million on the upgrading and refurbishment exercise which has enlarged the showroom while adding supporting aftersales services. The centre also has ample parking space for customers.
The service centre, occupying 12,347 square feet of the site, has 10 service bays with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and tools to provide efficient and reliable servicing for various Proton models.
Customers also stand to benefit from EON’s digitalisation push with the introduction of Workforce Management platform that enables customers to make appointments for servicing online and enjoy real-time service updates. Speaking at the opening ceremony this morning, Akkbar Danial, CEO of EON and also DRB-HICOM Berhad’s Head of Automotive Distribution, said: “The opening of the Proton EON Banting 3S Centre underscores EON’s continued focus on improving service to enhance customer satisfaction. This is in line with our position as Malaysia’s largest multi-brand car dealership.”
“The revamped and the newly refurbished showroom will allow us to raise the game in terms of customer’s experience, while its strategic location will make it very convenient for the residents of Banting and the surrounding areas to access our 3S centre, whether it is for the purchase of new cars, or for after-sales servicing,” Encik Akkbar added, noting that EON, as a representative of Proton, has been serving customers in the Banting area since 1998.
