Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia (JLRM) has started sales of the latest version of the Range Rover Evoque. The SUV, currently in its second generation, is available in 3 variants, priced from RM498,800 for the 200 ps Dynamic SE (M Spec), RM529,800 for 249 ps Dynamic SE (H Spec), and RM565,800 for the 249 ps Dynamic HSE (Lux Spec).
Cosmetic changes for the 2024 model include a redesigned grille flanked by ultra-sleek Pixel LED headlights with signature Daytime Running Lights (available for the Lux Spec). Complementing the aerodynamic silhouette with a seamless unbroken waistline is the iconic floating roof.
This being the Chinese New Year festive period, JLRM has imported the Evoque with colour options that embrace the spirit of the Year of the Dragon. These include the auspicious Corinthian Bronze, Tribeca Blue and Arroios Grey, colours which are associated with prosperity and tranquillity and give the SUV a distinctive character.
The cabin environment epitomises the modern luxury design of the Range Rover. The reductive design philosophy is amplified with a new 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen that appears to ‘float’ and is within the driver’s eyeline for improved visibility. With new design seamlessly integrated into the centre console, additional space is available for storage with an area for a wireless charging pad as well.
Other premium features that are present the 400W Meridian sound system, electrically adjustable steering column, satin chrome gear shift paddles and steering wheel with moonlight bezel.
Besides advanced safety systems to make motoring safer, the latest Evoque also has a sophisticated suite of class-leading camera technologies. Available on H and Lux Specs are the 3D Surround camera, ClearSight Ground View and ClearSight Interior Rear View systems. These allow the driver to have a view not only all around the vehicle but also ‘through’ the bonnet to see the ground ahead.
